Another tough loss for the Knights tonight against a very good Farmington Tigers team. Farmington led from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Early in the game, the Tigers built a 16-3 lead before the Knights went on a 19-10 run to cut the deficit to 4 points. By halftime the Tigers extended the lead back to 10 points. In the second half, the Knights couldn’t get any closer than 9 points and in the end lost 92-79. The Tigers were on fire shooting 55% from the field, making good on 21 of 30 free throws, and outrebounding the Knights 30-21. Kendal Cox and Vanessa Alexander battled hard on both ends of the floor. Alexander led the rebounds with 7 and Cox nabbed 6 steals in addition to her 21 points. Tessa Johnson had a hot hand in the second half, finishing the game with 30 points. Kenzie Kramer chipped in 13 and Lily Tennyson 7 points.
