The Knights advance to the state semi-finals with a win over Lakeville North! In the first half the Knights built a 20 point lead behind hot shooting and tough defense. As a team the Knights were 11-18 from beyond the arc and held a 45-25 lead at halftime. In the second half, the Knights lost momentum when the Panthers made some defensive adjustments and slowly closed the gap. With 1:08 remaining, the Knights held a slim 63-58 lead. Free throws down the stretch sealed a 67-58 win! Kenzie Kramer led all scorers with 22 points, shooting 5-7 from the 3 point line. She also had 5 rebounds. Tessa Johnson scored 15 points. Kendal Cox scored 12 points. Lily Tennyson chipped in 11 points and pulled down 6 rebounds. Vanessa Alexander led the rebounding efforts with 7.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Kenzie Рher 3 point basket at the halftime buzzer broke the career scoring record for both girls and boys at STMA! The previous record of 1730 was held by Rae Johnson.

The #3 Knights will play #2 Farmington at 8:00 p.m. @ Williams Arena.
