The Knights traveled to Hopkins tonight where they jumped out to an 8-3 lead early in the game. The Royals quickly rallied and the two teams played even for much of the first half. With the score 25-20 at the 6:54 mark, the Royals put together a quiet 20-6 run to hold a 45-26 advantage at halftime. In the opening minutes of the second half, the Royals capitalized on the Knights’ turnovers to quickly score 12 points in 3 minutes. Despite a relentless effort by the Knights and battling to the end, two big runs on either side of halftime by the Royals put the game out of reach and the final score was 82-49. Kendal Cox led the scoring efforts with 14 points. She also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Piper Carlson had a strong game on the both ends of the floor; scoring points 11 points and hauling down 10 rebounds. Emma Miller, Lauren Hoselton, and Meriel Orham chipped in 8, 7, and 6 points respectively. ???????????? #embracechange
