The Knights dropped their sixth loss of the season to Eden Prairie tonight. The final score does not reflect the back and forth 36 minute battle. For the first 15 minutes of the game, the two teams exchanged small runs with the biggest lead being 5 points. With 3:20 remaining in the first half and holding a one point lead, the Eagles outscored the Knights 11-2 to take a 31-21 advantage at halftime. The Knights made several runs in the second half to close the gap. With 9:49 remaining in the game, the lead had been cut to two points (41-43). That’s as close as the Knights would get, as the Eagles capitalized on hot shooting from behind the arc. In the end the Knights lost 47-60. Kendal Cox led the scoring efforts with 13. Lauren Hoselton scored 12 and Emma Miller chipped in 9 points. The Knights will travel to Buffalo on Tuesday for another Lake Conference matchup. #embracechange
