The boys finished off their first dual of the season with some strong swims and impressive dives. Many of our events this evening were different for the varsity swimmers, which gave our JV swimmers a chance to compete on varsity some. This week we added weightlifting into our training routine leaving most the 9-12th grade guys sore and tired. Yet the coaches were very impressed with the positive attitudes, leadership and fun displayed at this meet. Additional highlights include Joe Spitalnick’s 55 second 100 freestyle swim in the 4×100 in addition to Blake Stuart’s 200 IM lifetime best swim. Josh Dalluge put up some strong 50 and 100 freestyle season times along with Elijah Christensan’s impressive 22 second 50 freestyle.
Next week the knights will compete at home against Elk River to reclaim the traveling trophy we tied for last season. Meet starts at 6 pm on Thursday and the team hopes to see a lot of knight pride fans at this event! Roll Knights!
