Trainer Bryan Szmergalski, better known as “TB”, will be leaving STMA at the end of this month. Bryan’s last event will be tonight’s football game vs. Lakeville South.
Bryan has been the trainer at STMA for the last 8 years. He has worked incredibly hard balancing student safety yet understanding the desire an athlete has to compete. He has worked with 100’s of athletes in his time here especially with athletes who suffered severe injuries and needed significant rehab.
Bryan has an incredible professional opportunity as he will be a medical assistant for a Dr. who works with professional athletes out in Colorado. In an email to the STMA Activities staff Bryan said, “STMA has been the most enjoyable and rewarding of any school I’ve worked at.” We were incredibly fortunate to have TB at STMA and while we are saddened to lose him, we wish him well as he begins this amazing professional opportunity.
STMA thanks “TB” and Allina Health, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, for allowing us to work with one of the best the last 8 years!
