The girls basketball team got their 20th win of the season Saturday night when they beat the defending state champs, Elk River. The Elks scored the first two points of the game, but the Knights scored the next 13 and never trailed again. At halftime, the Knights held a 27-10 advantage. The second half saw more scoring by both teams, but the Knights prevailed in a 61-37 win. As a team, they forced 28 turnovers, outrebounded the Elks by 1, and shot 50% from the field; with 9 players in the scoring column. Kenzie Kramer led all scorers with 18 points. Jadyn Hanson had 10 points and Vanessa Alexander chipped in 7 points. Whitney Dold, Kendal Cox, and Lily Tennyson each had 6 points. Cox led the rebounds with 5. Dold, Kramer, and Hanson each had 3 boards.
